The New Cabin Experi

The New Cabin Experi

Southwest’s redesigned cabin became the focus of an announcement video highlighting the next generation of the onboard experience. I helped film the piece inside a Phoenix Airport hangar, working directly with the production setup around the aircraft. My role included assisting with large lighting fixtures, filters, and other equipment before supporting the actual filming inside the cabin. The video showcased Extra Legroom seats, new snacks, in-seat power, and larger overhead bins through a series of clean product-focused shots. I helped shape the visual environment so each feature could be filmed clearly and consistently. The final piece introduced the new cabin in a polished way while giving Customers a closer look at the upgrades they could expect onboard.

Official Airline of the PPA Tour

Official Airline of the PPA Tour

Southwest’s role as the Official Airline of the PPA Tour came to life through a series of animated graphics displayed around the courts during the national finals. I developed the videos to promote key points of difference, using pickleball-inspired language such as “Bounce it!” and “In a pickle?” to connect the messaging directly to the sport. The motion graphics surrounded the court throughout professional matches, giving the brand consistent visibility during the event. Together, the videos served as a major brand-awareness element within Southwest’s PPA sponsorship.

The New Aircraft Experience

The New Aircraft Experience

A complete virtual walkthrough gives users the ability to explore Southwest’s new aircraft from the front galley to the rear cabin. I photographed the interior, captured the full 360-degree environment, and assembled the experience into a functional interactive tour. The project highlights seating, lighting, cabin finishes, service areas, and key aircraft features through a continuous point-to-point journey. I focused on clear navigation and consistent image quality so users could move through the plane without losing their sense of orientation. The final experience turns a complex aircraft interior into an accessible digital tour that can be explored at any pace.

Trading Card Landing Page

Trading Card Landing Page

Southwest’s aircraft trading cards became the focus of a dedicated landing page designed to help Customers understand, collect, and share the series. I created the page structure, visual hierarchy, and card-based content system to make the program easy to explore across desktop screens. The design combines blueprint-inspired backgrounds, aircraft imagery, and bright brand colors to connect the digital experience with the collectible cards themselves. I organized the content into clear sections covering the program’s purpose, how to collect cards, upcoming releases, social sharing, and common questions. The final page gives the program a polished home while keeping the experience approachable for both new and longtime collectors.

Independence One | 4th of July Sale

Independence One | 4th of July Sale

America’s 250th anniversary became the focus of a Fourth of July sale built around the debut of Southwest’s new Independence One aircraft. I designed the campaign to pair a clear fare offer with the plane’s patriotic red, white, and blue livery. The layout uses a bright sky, open runway, and large-scale aircraft photography to give the promotion a clean, celebratory feel. I balanced the headline, price point, and booking call to action so the offer could be understood quickly across digital placements. The final creative connects a national milestone with a timely travel message while giving the new aircraft a central role in the campaign. This entire project was brought together by a custom render I built of this airplane!

Miss Essie’s 100th Birthday Flight

Miss Essie’s 100th Birthday Flight

A surprise onboard celebration turned Miss Essie’s 100th birthday into a memorable social story. I edited the footage into a warm, upbeat video that captures the spontaneity of the moment and the care shown by the flight crew. The final piece centers on her reaction, the handmade birthday crown, and the shared excitement inside the cabin. I shaped the pacing to feel personal while keeping the story clear for a short-form social audience. The result highlights a meaningful customer moment and the sense of connection that can happen during travel.

An Award, Worn Proudly

An Award, Worn Proudly

Recognition from The Wall Street Journal became a highly visible piece of aircraft branding through a large-format vinyl decal created for the exterior of a Southwest plane. The artwork combined the accolade with a bold, graphic treatment designed to remain clear at scale, then was carefully positioned above the Southwest heart beside the front entrance door. The work moved from clean production artwork through an aircraft mockup, accounting for the fuselage surface, placement, proportion, and real-world viewing distance.

Knoxville, Ready for Takeoff

Knoxville, Ready for Takeoff

Southwest’s arrival in Knoxville marked the airline’s first service to the city, introduced through a destination-led email announcement. I built the creative around a bold “Knock, Knock Knoxville” message, pairing layered mountain scenery with a warm sunrise gradient to capture the character of East Tennessee. The layout balanced the new-service announcement, launch timing, and booking call to action within a clear mobile-first hierarchy. Supporting teaser copy and visual clues helped build anticipation before revealing the new destination.

Watch Us Fly

Watch Us Fly

“Watch Us Fly” was created as a company-wide rally cry designed to inspire Southwest Employees and reinforce the energy behind the brand. I joined the production intending to help recruit extras, then quickly stepped into an assistant to the director role once filming began. Throughout the shoot, I supported the film makers with shot composition, staging, and overall production decisions. The experience gave me the chance to contribute both creatively and practically while helping shape a piece seen across the company. The final film brought Employees, Customers, and operational teams together in one unified story about pride, momentum, and what comes next. One of the most personal moments was seeing my friend Cale appear as one of the pilots featured in the production.
