Working for HEXBUG® I never know what kind of cool project might be waiting for me around the corner. This design was used at an annual fundraiser hosted by Tony Hawk called Stand Up For Skateparks. Our company, after partnering with Tony Hawk and his agency, was invited to attend and showcase our toys. We wanted to have a cool handout for any kids who visited our booth... thus the HEXBUG® Splat sticker was born.
The idea was that a kid could stick this translucent sticker on the bottom of their skateboard and it would look as if bug guts had been plastered all over the bottom of their deck!
