My grandfather owns a 1986 white El Camino with maroon racing stripes. He has always been very proud of his car so for his birthday one year I wanted to make something special for him. I bought an 86 El Camino Hot Wheels® car, painted it white, cut maroon vinyl stripes, and used my packaging skills to create his very own custom Hot Wheels® car.
I recycled the existing plastic blister to hold the car in place and printed out a glossy card stock backer card for the package. After gluing it all together it was looked very convincing and of course put a giant smile on his face.
